Leader of the MP, too, finds the consultation round meaningless

MosesWILLEMSTAD – After the leader of the party Korsou di Nos Tur, businessman Amparo dos Santos declared that he will not meet with the Governor in the process of forming a government, now it is the leader of the Movementu Progressivo (Progressive Movement), Dr. Marilyn Moses, who refuses to participate in the consultation rounds of a new cabinet.

Mozes thinks it is meaningless to meet with the Governor. While the Governor still conducts exploratory talks, the proposed coalition parties have already publicly signed a declaration indicating their willingness to form a coalition. The parties even distributed the portfolios already, said Moses. One of the parties has already nominated the candidate-ministers. “All this while the Governor just started with her consultation rounds.”

Moses believes that the normal procedures are being trampled on by these coalition parties. “If we fail in order of a procedure, things go wrong,” Moses believes.

Amparo dos Santos thinks that the Governor already has a 'completed agenda' for the formation of a new government. Therefore, talking does not make sense.
