Leeflang questions Asjes about Marvelyne Wiels

Omayra LeeflangWILLEMSTAD - In a letter to Prime Minister Ivar Asjes, independent Member of Parliament, Omayra Leeflang questions the Minister Plenipotentiary, Marvelyne Wiels’ alleged favoritism for certain people to work at the Curacao House in The Hague. The Minister Plenipotentiary has hired six people without the mandatory application process. The MP wants to know from the Prime Minister if this is true.

Those hired by the Minister are Jassir de Windt, Andrew Wilsoe, Gilanne Wiels, Mylenne Gerards, Linda Tonkes and Giovanni Pablo. The first five on this list have received a six-month contract. Leeflang also wants to know about the veracity of Wiels’ curriculum. The Dutch Parliament is questioning her on the truthfulness of the resume she has presented to the Government. Leeflang wants to know what the consequences are of resume fraud.
