Leeflang supports government Asjes under certain conditions

Omayra LeeflangWILLEMSTAD – Independent Member of Parliament, Omayra Leeflang Asjes supports the government, but under certain conditions. The MP would not speak of unconditional parliamentary support, but if some conditions are met, she is willing to give the current government her support.

The Independent MP said that it’s still an issue for her that the Minister Plenipotentiary, Marvelyne Wiels, is still at her post in The Hague. According to Leeflang, Mrs. Wiels has to go.

Furthermore, the lawmaker wants the pension premium to be reduced to three per cent, equivalent to what employees are paying and she wants compensation for the pension gap of pensioners who will stop working when they turn 60. According to Leeflang there is a pension gap of more than eight hundred and fifty guilders.

If these conditions are met, the lawmaker is prepared to support the government Asjes and she doesn’t even need to appoint a Minister in the cabinet. Leeflang also shows a willingness to establish a political party if there is a need for it.
