MFK’s doors are closed and will not open for reconciliation

WILLEMSTAD – Former Prime Minister Gerrit Schotte’s party MFK are not open for a possible reconciliation with the Pueblo Soberano (PS). This was stated to the morning newspaper Extra. This was MFK respond to PS’s president Melvin Cijntje who till yesterday was optimistic about a possible solution for the impasse between the two leaders.

“Wiels will never change” according to MFK’s leadership. There is no use in attempting reconciliation. According to Schotte, everytime Wiels tries to come with a new willingness declaration, but tears it apart publicly in his radio program with offensive comments towards those he depends on to form a government.

“MFK’s position will not change”, Schotte reiterates, referring to the fact that they will not revoke their decision of retracting from the negotiations to form a new government.
