Minister Palm visits Blue Bay

bluebayWILLEMSTAD – Minister Stanley Palm of Economic Development spent last Friday with a delegation of the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) visiting Blue Bay Curacao Golf & Beach Resort.

During this visit Blue Bay eagerly took the opportunity to present its new plans to the Minister and various representatives of Curaçao in Europe, North and South America. The management of the resort looks forward following the recent acquisition of the hotel and beach exploitation. Commercial Director Rogier van der Meer: “We can now do things faster with the CTB and its partners. Our vision is ambitious and offers many opportunities in the field of tourism. In addition to upgrading our facilities there are plans to build new luxury beach apartments directly on the bay of the resort.”

And COO Stefan Dubbeling says: “We will perform our plan step by step . Beginning with the improvement of the overall experience at the resort. New events, operating on the beach and bringing talented artists to the resort, are part of the plans. Also reopening the Sunset Bar on the pier will soon be on the schedule.”

After lunch at Blue Bay plans were discussed for the Curaçao Baseball Week, a week entirely devoted to baseball, children and charity. The organization is working hard, together with some Curaçao baseball legends, to achieve this event. Organizer Blue Bay, together with the CTB, will establish a promotion plan for the various markets.
