Navarro satisfied with case Magnus

NavarroWILLEMSTAD -  During the weekly press conference of the Council of Ministers, Nelson Navarro, Minister of Justice said that he is very satisfied with the results of the case Magnus, which is the investigation into the murder of the politician Helmin Magno Wiels.

“The case has received a lot of attention and media coverage, not only locally, but also on the international level,” Navarro said. The Minister also indicated that he is very pleased with the verdict in the case. The executor will be behind bars for the rest of his life, but those who were accomplices were acquitted. “Of course, I cannot be happy with this and if it’s true that they are accomplices, then we have to continue investigating and finding evidence to have these two receive their well-deserved punishment,” the Minister said.

“Public Prosecutor Gert Rip did a tremendous job. The case was very well put together. And now we have to proceed to what everyone is expecting, which is the case Maximus. This is in full swing now. We’ve never stopped with this investigation. We will continue to work night and day to bring the intellectual authors of the murder to justice,” Minister Navarro stated during the press conference.
