Parliament’s public meeting on UTS tomorrow

Curacao ParliamentWILLEMSTAD -  This week opens with three public meetings for the Curacao Parliament. Topics of the meetings, the economic growth of the island, the operation of fuel oil and gas, and the state of affairs at UTS. The latter issue will be addressed on Tuesday.

In an earlier meeting on March 19, the government company was under fire. Was The deceased politician Helmin Wiels and member of Parliament, Eugène Cleopa of PAIS were not satisfied at that time with the services of the company. Earl Balborda, Minister of Transport, Traffic and Urban Planning, announced in early March that UTS will going through a thorough audit. Tomorrow Parliament will examine the current state of affairs so far.
