PNP has difficulties presenting its list
WILLEMSTAD – There are problems in the PNP party. The coalition party cannot present its candidate’s list. The reason is the disagreement within the party about the position of the political leader Humphrey Davelaar.
There is a division in the party where a group is behind the political leader and another group behind Minister Suzanne Camelia-Römer. Camelia-Römer, who is a former Prime Minister of the Netherlands Antilles, has profiled herself very well as Minister of Traffic, Transportation and Spatial Planning. According to her supporters, she should lead the party.
The position of the current political leader has weakened after two prominent party members resigned their membership.
