President of Parliament denies selective meetings
WILLEMSTAD - President of Parliament William Millerson denies that he deliberately does not call certain meetings. He reacts to accusations of the Member of Parliament for the opposition party MFK Charles Cooper.
Cooper accuses Millerson of being dictatorial and says that the President of Parliament only calls meetings of the coalition and not of the opposition.
Cooper refers in his letter to article 43 of the statute: Countries in the Kingdom must ensure sound governance and the MFK believes that Millerson endangers this. The President of Parliament in his turn thinks that Cooper has no right to speak after his party tried to thwart the elections last year.
