Prime Minister meets with trade unions

Rhuggenaath_UnionsWILLEMSTAD - Representatives of the unions PWFC and Apri visited Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath on August 1.

The purpose of the meeting was to inform these unions about the progress of the refinery modernization process. Rhuggenaath is aware of the importance that the trade unions representing the refinery staff are informed about the latest developments in the process.

The parties discussed and exchanged views on various subjects, including the need for adaptation to the addendum, the latest developments in the negotiations with Guangdong Zhenrong Energy (GZE) and the need to bring PdVSA to the table as quickly as possible to negotiate.

Also present was the chairman of the Multi-Disciplinary Project Team (MDPT) who also provided the trade unions with the necessary information and answered questions.
