Update: “Guangdong Zhenrong Energy has not been ruled out yet”

Rhuggenaath1WILLEMSTAD - The government is not out to get rid of Guangdong Zhenrong Energy (GZE), said the Prime of Curaçao Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath.

The Prime Minister also said that there are no indications that GZE would no longer have any interest in Curaçao. The Prime Minister has emphasized that the government is currently not talking with parties other than GZE.

There were worries from the government about the due diligence of the Chinese company. In the statement, Rhuggenaath indicated that the government is not in discussions with Shell as an alternative to GZE. No discussions were held with Shell.
