WILLEMSTAD – After weeks of vibrant parades, impressive costumes, and exuberant celebrations, the carnival season will officially come to a close on Saturday. Carnival organizations Fundashon Desaroyo Karnaval Korsou (FDKK) and AGKK are hosting a grand gala to reflect on the season’s highlights with participants. 

The closing event is a time to celebrate the best moments of carnival and express gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the festival. From the energetic groups and floats to the musicians and dancers, all have played a vital role in making the festivities unforgettable. 

On Saturday, the awards ceremony will also take place, recognizing the best carnival groups and participants. Who had the most beautiful costumes? Which float made the biggest impression on the audience?
