WILLEMSTAD – The acquisition of new ambulances is on the agenda today in the Parliament of Curaçao. Members of Parliament will hold discussions with the Minister of Health, Environment, and Nature, the director of the Ambulance Care Foundation Curaçao (FKAK), and the chairman of its Supervisory Board.
As part of the meeting, two new ambulances will be stationed in front of the Parliament building, allowing MPs to personally inspect the vehicles and receive a detailed explanation of their features and capabilities.
In a statement, Parliament clarified that the presence of the ambulances outside the building is solely for demonstration purposes and emphasized that there is no cause for alarm among the public.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve emergency healthcare services on the island and ensure that the medical fleet is up to modern standards.
