The ceremony was opened by ORV’s communication manager and MC, Mr. Ronald Richardson, who welcomed everyone and expressed words of appreciation. Among those present were ORV Director Mrs. Alpha Falbru, Sector Manager for Post-initial Studies and Leadership Trajectories Mr. Jowenny Troeman, as well as representatives from Veterinary Affairs, Curaçao Maritime Authority, Carmabi, KPC/RST, and GMN. Family members, instructors, and ORV staff also attended to show their support.

During the ceremony, both the sector manager and the ORV director shared motivational words with the graduates. Mrs. Falbru stated: “You were selected to participate in this training, and today you have proven that your supervisor placed their trust in the right person. You have successfully completed your training and made your families, your supervisors, and all of us at ORV very proud.”

The program continued with congratulatory remarks from instructor Ms. Cannegieter, who guided the BAVPOL class, and who then invited each graduate to the front to receive their diploma from the ORV director, accompanied by one or two representatives from their respective organizations.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Ms. Sharnardelle Martinus, who graduated as the top student of the class, delivered brief words of gratitude.

With this achievement, the seven ORV graduates are now ready to serve the community, equipped with the knowledge and skills to carry out control and investigative tasks in a professional manner as defined by law.
