WILLEMSTAD - On Thursday, October 23, 2025, Mr. Manfred van Veghel, Director of the CARMABI Foundation, and Mr. Karel van Haren, representing the STINAPA Foundation, paid a visit to the Acting Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Mrs. Michele Russel-Capriles.

During the meeting, Mr. Van Veghel and Mr. Van Haren provided an overview of the current organizational structure of both CARMABI and STINAPA, and briefed the Acting Governor on their future plans, particularly regarding the management and preservation of Curaçao’s nature parks.

The meeting highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between the government and environmental organizations to ensure the protection of Curaçao’s natural heritage for future generations.
