ACU is considering closing number of ATMS after robberies

WILLEMSTAD – The Antillean Credit Union (ACU) is considering temporarily closing a number of ATMs. This in response to the robberies with the destruction of several ATM machines they had to deal with in recent weeks.

According to chairman Angelo Davelaar of the ACU, the General Savings and Credit Cooperative, all banks suffer from it. Davelaar indicated that the problem must also be solved together. Last week, an ACU cash machine in Tera Kòrá and an ACU machine at the Santa Rosaweg were blown up.
