WILLEMSTAD - The Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Lucille George-Wout, received the Ambassadors and Consuls General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, on the occasion of the “Regional Conference for the Western Hemisphere” organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The conference focuses on strengthening international relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation. In her welcome address, the Governor emphasized the importance of the presence of the Kingdom’s diplomatic missions in the region. She also noted that their mission applies equally to all four countries of the Kingdom — both European and Caribbean. Furthermore, she called on the diplomats to place their knowledge, experience, and resources at the service of Curaçao as well.
