WILLEMSTAD - The Lokèt di Komunidat (Community Service Desk), located at Sambil, celebrated its first anniversary on Friday, October 2, 2025. In a cheerful and festive atmosphere, guests and colleagues gathered to commemorate this milestone achievement.
The Department of Permits and Public Affairs (Kranshi) of the Ministry of Governance, Planning and Public Service (BPD) marked one year since the opening of the Lokèt di Komunidat. Minister Kimberly Lew-Jen-Tai expressed great pride in this accomplishment, extending her gratitude to all employees — and in particular to Service Head Mrs. Shumire Johannes — for their dedicated work.
“The establishment has clearly proven its purpose,” the Minister said. “It began with a selection of products and services offered by Kranshi and the Permit Desk, and now clients can access them all under one roof.”
The motto “Quality Service in One Location” remains at the heart of the initiative and will continue to guide its mission in the years ahead. The Lokèt di Komunidat announced that it will maintain its current high standard of service and soon expand the range of products and services offered — part of a broader effort to provide accessible and efficient public services to the people of Curaçao.
A message of appreciation was also shared: “Thanks to all employees and to the people of Curaçao for their acceptance, support, and trust. We look forward to continuing to serve our community.”
The Lokèt di Komunidat is located at Sambil (Cas Abou entrance) and is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
