WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Zoo in Damacor has expanded its attractions with the opening of a brand-new Petting Zoo, offering visitors the chance to get up close and interact with animals. 

The Petting Zoo is designed especially for children, allowing them to learn about animals in a playful and engaging way. The official launch was marked on Saturday with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony. 

The opening event drew many families, who enjoyed a full day of activities including guided tours, bouncy castles, dance performances, and live shows. The program ran from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., making it a lively and educational outing for both children and parents. 

With this new feature, Curaçao Zoo aims to strengthen its role as a family-friendly destination while promoting awareness and appreciation of animals among the island’s youth.
