WILLEMSTAD – The draft budget for 2019 of Curaçao is again not in order. The proposed cost savings are insufficient, and the tax revenues have been estimated too high.

The Financial Supervision Committee (Cft) writes this in a letter to Kenneth Gijsbertha. In doing so, the Minister of Finance is interfering with the agreements made with the Cft in October. They are not without obligation and must be followed, according to the Committee.
