WILLEMSTAD – The crew of the Dutch naval ship Zr.Ms. Friesland has raised more than €6,500 for the local animal welfare organization Rescue Paws Curaçao during their mission in the Caribbean.

Over ninety sailors organized various activities at sea, including an auction and a poker tournament, to collect the funds.

The donation will enable Rescue Paws Curaçao to expand its support for stray dogs and household pets on the island. The money will go toward food contributions and sterilization projects, helping the organization improve the wellbeing of animals in need.
