WILLEMSTAD - Fundashon Bicentini is enhancing the knowledge and preparedness of street coaches and volunteers participating in the “From Street to Stadium” project. According to the foundation, participants learned during a recent course how to respond quickly and effectively to minor accidents or injuries and how to maintain safety while providing first aid.
The four-hour training was conducted by Barolitis EHBO Training Center at the Sentro di Bario Montaña, under the guidance of ambassador Sharethsie Dometilia.
Through this first aid training, Fundashon Bicentini aims to strengthen safety, knowledge, and self-reliance within the “From Street to Stadium” initiative, which focuses on the positive development of young people in Curaçao’s neighborhoods.
The foundation described the atmosphere during the training as enthusiastic and eager to learn. Participants expressed that they found the session highly valuable and are looking forward to the second part of the course, where they will receive an official certification.
“Together, we are working toward greater safety, knowledge, and confidence — both during matches and training sessions, as well as in daily life,” said Remko Bicentini.
