WILLEMSTAD - Fundashon Tur ta Konta on Curaçao is among the 12 finalists who are in the race this year for an Appeltje van Oranje, Appel of Orange.

The foundation 'everyone counts' was established in 2014 to make a difference for children who have difficulty with mathematics. The award of the Appeltjes van Oranje is an initiative of the Oranjefonds.

The winners will receive a bronze statuette, made by Princess Beatrix, and a sum of 15,000 euros.
