WILLEMSTAD - Curacao-based airline InselAir announced its streamlined schedule leading up to annual Carnival celebrations throughout the region. The new flight schedules adjust timing for more convenient travel for residents and tourists to be able to experience all that the Dutch Caribbean islands have to offer during the festival season and beyond.
The new flight schedule takes effect with flights starting Monday, January 28th, 2019. All passengers with tickets on affected flights will be contacted regarding any changes that might affect their plans, but the new schedule is based on feedback from passengers and provides connections to and from all points within the InselAir network including Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao and St. Maarten.
Flights between the Dutch Antillean islands of Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire are operated by InselAir on the Fokker 50 turboprop aircraft with connections 5 times weekly to and from St. Maarten and Curacao with a Boeing 737-800 jet aircraft operated in cooperation with Dutch Corendon Airlines.
As part of the launch of the festival season, InselAir will also be kicking off campaigns to attract tourists to each island so that they can experience all the wonders each island has to offer during the entire Carnival period. The campaign will involve day trips and weekend getaways targeted to those new to the experience, as well as promotional specials and activities for all InselAir customers.
