WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Justice has announced that, despite the island-wide power outage, its services will continue as much as possible.

Departments equipped with emergency generators remain fully operational. Essential services, including the Curaçao Police Force and the Fire Department, have taken measures to ensure the continuity of their operations.

Civil personnel are scheduled to resume work this afternoon at 1:30 p.m., provided that electricity has been restored by then.

The Ministry stated it will provide further updates throughout the day as the situation develops and expressed gratitude to the public for its understanding and cooperation.
