WILLEMSTAD - On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the Minister of Economic Development, Ruisandro Middelhof, hosted a working lunch for the ambassadors and consuls general of the Kingdom of the Netherlands stationed throughout the Western Hemisphere, who are currently visiting Curaçao.
The gathering provided an opportunity to discuss key topics within the economic domain and explore how the diplomats can help identify business and investment opportunities for Curaçao in the countries where they serve.
Following the luncheon, the delegation was given a guided tour of the Port of Curaçao, where they received updates on recent developments and ongoing projects, including the activities at 2BAYS. The ambassadors were accompanied during the tour by Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning Charles Cooper and Minister Middelhof.
