WILLEMSTAD - Last week, the Minister of Economic Development, Roderick Middelhof, made a surprise visit to the employees of the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature (GMN) at the SDK Stadium (Stadion Ergilio Hato).

Minister Middelhof expressed his appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the GMN staff and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the government and the community:

“A clean island starts with all of us. By using the large waste containers, we are contributing together to a cleaner and healthier Curaçao.”

The large waste containers will be available on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the following locations:

SDK (Stadion Ergilio Hato) 

Kaya Muizenberg 

Santo Domingoweg 

Cubaweg/Churchillweg 

Churchillweg/Rooseveltweg

This initiative ensures that residents have ample opportunity to properly dispose of their bulky waste.

Minister Middelhof called on everyone to dispose of their large waste responsibly at the designated collection points, helping to maintain a cleaner and healthier Curaçao.
