WILLEMSTAD - Over 8500 people participated in one of the activities of Ride for the Roses yesterday. That is 1500 fewer participants than last year.

The 15th edition raised about 450,000 guilders for the fight against cancer of the Princess Wilhelmina Fund. The money does not include the 140,000 guilders that former chairman Curd Evertsz raised in 2018.

The organizers can look back to a very successful event.
