WILLEMSTAD - The Central Committee of Parliament continued its review of the 2026 national budget on Tuesday, according to a press release from the Parliament of Curaçao.
During the session, members discussed the final five chapters of the budget, including those of the Ministries of Economic Development, Education, Finance, Social Development, and Health.
Parliamentarians used their remaining speaking time to raise questions and offer comments on various parts of the budget, addressing key issues related to fiscal policy, social welfare, and government spending priorities.
“The questions and remarks made by the Members of Parliament will be compiled into a report, which will be formally submitted to the government in writing,” a parliamentary spokesperson stated.
