WILLEMSTAD - The police are urgently searching for 13-year-old Ishamar Thelmy Merceline Lodowica, who has been missing since Saturday afternoon. The young girl left her home that day to go to the beach in the Marie Pampoen area and has not returned since. Authorities are asking the public for any information that could help locate her.

According to the police, Ishamar was born in Curaçao and is approximately 1.65 meters tall. She has an oval face, average build, black hair, and dark brown eyes. Her skin tone is described as light brown.

At the time she left home, Ishamar was wearing a blouse, white jeans, and black Crocs.

Police stress that no detail is too small and urge anyone who may have seen Ishamar or knows of her whereabouts to contact them immediately by calling 917, or anonymously via 108.

Authorities continue to investigate all leads as the search for the missing girl intensifies.
