Prime Minister Pisas Meets with Jamaican Ambassador to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

 

WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas received a courtesy visit from the Ambassador of Jamaica, Natalie Campbell-Rodriques, for what he described as a “pleasant and productive meeting.”

According to a statement shared by the Prime Minister on his social media, the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange ideas aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Curaçao and Jamaica.

During the encounter, both parties discussed ways to enhance collaboration in key areas of mutual interest, including trade, tourism, cultural exchange, and regional partnerships.

Prime Minister Pisas emphasized the importance of maintaining strong relations with Caribbean neighbors, noting that deeper cooperation within the region contributes to shared progress and stability.

The Jamaican ambassador, based in Caracas and accredited to Curaçao, expressed her country’s commitment to continuing dialogue and partnership with the island.

The meeting reflects Curaçao’s ongoing efforts to expand diplomatic engagement and regional cooperation within the wider Caribbean community.
