WILLEMSTAD – Residents of Aruba, Curaçao, and St. Maarten who wish to vote in the Dutch parliamentary elections scheduled for late October 2025 can now register as eligible voters. Registration is open until September 17, 2025.
The Representation of the Netherlands will serve as a postal voting office between October 22 and 29, where registered voters can cast their ballots. Only those who register on time will be allowed to participate.
Eligibility extends to all Dutch nationals who have lived in the Netherlands for at least ten years. This includes European Dutch citizens who have relocated to Aruba, Curaçao, or St. Maarten.
Registration must be completed online via the page “Registering for residents of Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten” on www.denhaag.nl. Applicants must fill out the form, upload the required documents, and will then receive a confirmation email.
Voters who previously registered for earlier elections will receive instructions directly by email from the Electoral Office in The Hague.
The Representation of the Netherlands in Curaçao, Aruba, and St. Maarten emphasized in a press release that timely registration is essential to ensure participation in the upcoming elections.
