WILLEMSTAD – Human Rights Defense Curaçao will host a roundtable discussion this Thursday, August 28, focusing on equal education opportunities for all children on the island.
The event, titled “Equal Access, Equal Future,” will feature a presentation by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports on its policy regarding undocumented students. In addition, Human Rights Defense Curaçao will share findings from recent focus groups involving legal experts, school social workers, psychologists, parents, children, and school principals.
The roundtable aims to bring all stakeholders to the table to explore solutions that ensure every child in Curaçao has fair access to education. Organizers emphasize that the goal is to contribute to a more just and inclusive future for the island’s youth.
