WILLEMSTAD - There has been a lot of questions about what the difference is between the Hospital Nobo Otrabanda (HNO), literally translated, the new hospital Otrobanda and the new name Curaçao Medical Center.

Hospital Nobo Otrobanda is the entity responsible for the management, training of the current St. Elisabeth Hospital professionals, recruitment, planning, transition and delivery of the new hospital when all is ready to start operating during the 4th quarter of 2019 as Curaçao Medical Center.

As such the project bears the name Hospital Nobo Otrobanda, while the new hospital will bear the name of Curaçao Medical Center.
