WILLEMSTAD – The Atrako-team has arrested two suspects in connection with a theft and fencing case that occurred on June 23 near Tritonstraat. 

The first suspect, a 39-year-old woman of Curaçaoan nationality, was taken into custody around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Later the same day, at approximately 2:00 p.m., officers arrested a second suspect, a 43-year-old man, also born in Curaçao. 

Both individuals are linked to the case and have been presented before an assistant public prosecutor, who ordered their pre-trial detention pending further investigation. 

Authorities have not yet disclosed additional details about the stolen goods or the circumstances of the case, as the investigation is ongoing.
