WILLEMSTAD – The Venezuelans on the island will join the manifestation called by the President of the Venezuelan Parliament Juan Guaido who is the interim president of Venezuela. Guaido has the backing of most countries on the American continent. Even the Vice President of the U.S. Mike Pence has pronounced his support to Guaido and has called on all Venezuelans to protest the dictator Nicolas Maduro.

The Venezuelans in Curaçao will meet at Wilhelmina Plaza on January 23 from 5 until 8 pm.

The activity will be carried out in more than two hundred cities around the world, as a complement to the international pressure exerted by the Group of Lima, U.S.A., Canada, and the European Parliament.

A democratic change in Venezuela is desirable not only for the Venezuelan nation but also for the entire region that has inevitably been affected.
