WILLEMSTAD - The annual Duo Xtreme mountain bike race will take place on Sunday, November 9, featuring top international competitors, including professional cyclists Mick and Tim van Dijke from the Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe team. The event will bring together both local riders and international cycling stars, organizers announced.
The Duo Xtreme is known as one of Curaçao’s most challenging sporting events — an adventure through the island’s rugged Caribbean landscape, testing riders with steep climbs, rocky trails, and demanding technical sections.
“I’m really looking forward to racing here,” said Mick van Dijke. “The scenery is stunning, and the competition is always strong.”
His brother Tim van Dijke added:
“It’s amazing to do this race together — it connects us even more with the local cycling community.”
Beyond being a test of endurance and teamwork, the race serves as a celebration of Curaçao’s growing cycling culture, uniting enthusiasts, families, and fans from across the island.
The event has become a highlight on Curaçao’s sporting calendar, combining high-level competition with community spirit, all set against the island’s spectacular natural backdrop.
