WILLEMSTAD - "The show is now really over for InselAir," said CEO of the airline Lars de Brabander on Monday morning. On Tuesday the bankruptcy of InselAir International BV was pronounced by the Court in Willemstad.

A representative of the superintendent informed the examining magistrate on Monday morning about the withdrawal of investor group Tilgent Capital Trust as a potential acquisition candidate for the local embattled airline.

Employees have little chance of being paid yet and are therefore left empty-handed on the street. De Brabander does not want to confirm this but says that this is often the case with bankruptcies. Creditors have the first right to any money.
