KRALENDIJK – On Tuesday, May 27, the Director of Curoil Group, Mr. Yamil Lasten, and Mr. John Soliano, Lieutenant Governor of Bonaire, representing the Public Entity Bonaire (OLB), signed an agreement related to the acquisition of the Bopec facilities.

This signing underscores both parties’ intention to successfully complete the acquisition process, given its public importance and the role of the OLB in making strategic decisions regarding energy and fuel security, spatial planning, and environmental protection. 

The acquisition process is progressing well, and Curoil Bonaire is expected to sign the official Sale and Purchase Agreement with Bopec’s trustee, Mr. C.M. van Liere, in the near future.
