WILLEMSTAD – Energy company VIGOR has started preparatory work to resume activities at the Bullenbaai terminal, according to a spokesperson in an official press release.
The company has initiated a procurement process for various essential supplies and services, including safety equipment, fire water pumps, site maintenance, and inspection services. These preparatory tasks are scheduled to take place in June.
These efforts are part of the first phase of a planned thirty-year operational period during which VIGOR aims to maximize the terminal’s capacity. At the same time, the company is expanding its range of services in partnership with 2BAYS, which will include storage, blending activities, and ship handling.
The restart of the Bullenbaai terminal marks a significant step in VIGOR’s long-term strategy to strengthen its role in the energy sector and enhance its service offerings in Curaçao.
