WILLEMSTAD - The historic SEHOS building has been the target of repeated vandalism in recent months by various groups of destructive youths. Instead of showing respect for a structure that holds deep emotional and historical significance for the community, these individuals have chosen to deface it with graffiti, force open doors, and destroy valuable objects within the property.
The acts of vandalism have reportedly taken place both during the week and over weekends, causing growing concern among local residents and authorities.
SEHOS officials have confirmed that they are working closely with law enforcement to identify and hold those responsible accountable. “We already have several videos and photos of the young people involved,” a spokesperson said.
Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help in the investigation. Anyone who recognizes the individuals seen in the footage is asked to contact SEHOS so that the youths — together with their parents — can be held responsible for their actions.
