Minister of Foreign Affairs answers 27 questions about the treaty with the US on the use of Curaçao as a hub

THE HAGUE - Minister Stef Blok of Foreign Affairs answered the 27 written questions from the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Dutch Parliament about the treaty that would allow the United States to use Curaçao as a humanitarian aid hub for Venezuela.

The minister reiterates that the Americans are not allowed to use the agreement for any military purposes, that relief supplies are only transported to Venezuela if that is allowed by the authorities in Caracas and that the US pays for the use of the facilities made available.
