WILLEMSTAD - The public company Refineria di Korsou, Curaçao Refinery (RdK) which owns the refinery installations is preparing a trip to the U.S. and U.K. to discuss the take over of the refinery with potential candidates.

The owner of the refinery says that about fifty companies have shown interest.

They are mainly in America and England. The discussions should make it clear at the end of this month which parties are left to continue negotiations. The lease with the current operator, PdVSA, will end at the end of this year.
