WILLEMSTAD - Student Finance Foundation Curaçao (SSC) can no longer pay its students in the region. Former students are not paying back enough to keep the fund going. In order to be able to pay the students, SSC has received an advance on the government subsidy.

This is an amount of three million guilders. Whoever studies in the region receives an annual study allowance of around 27,000 guilders. All students have now received their money.

Former students with an outstanding study debt are asked to make a payment arrangement as quickly as possible.
