Air Century announces direct flight between Santiago de los Caballeros and San Juan, Puerto Rico

SANTO DOMINGO - On Tuesday, April 2, the Dominican airline Air Century opens its operations from the Cibao International Airport with direct service to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The details were offered by its president, Omar Chahin Lama, in a meeting held at the León Center, where he reported that three flights per week will be operating in the beginning; Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

"With this announcement, we are witnessing a stellar moment in the life of Air Century. The inauguration of the Santiago de los Caballeros-San Juan Puerto Rico route marks a new milestone in our history that dates back to 1992," said Chahin Lama during his speech.

 

In his speech, the Dominican entrepreneur also highlighted the continued growth that the airline has presented, which only in 2018 integrated several destinations: Aruba, St. Maarten, Curaçao and Cuba, and that in 2019 plans to add other cities to its portfolio.
