WILLEMSTAD - From June 12, a bubble will be created between the Caribbean Dutch islands (Aruba - Sint Maarten - Bonaire - Saba - Sint Eustatius). Passengers can then travel freely between these islands.
According to epidemiologist Izzy Gerstenbluth, there are no local infections on all 6 islands, which makes this possible. If Sint Maarten or Aruba decides to let people from unsafe countries such as The United States of America enter freely, this bubble will stop.
June 12 is the target date, later it will be announced whether travel is actually possible.
