WILLEMSTAD – Although Curaçao’s cruise high season typically runs from October to April, the island is already experiencing a strong influx of cruise visitors. On Tuesday alone, two cruise ships brought more than 8,400 passengers to the island.
The Enchanted Princess, carrying nearly 4,000 guests, docked at the Mega Pier Tula, while the Carnival Vista, with about 4,500 passengers on board, berthed at the Mega Pier Ernest Jackie Voges.
According to the port schedule, at least 48 cruise ships are expected to visit Curaçao over the next three months, indicating a busy run-up to the traditional high season.
Cruise Arrivals Continue to Grow
The Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) recently released figures for the first half of 2025, showing that between January and June the island welcomed 474,572 cruise passengers and 185 cruise ship calls. These numbers confirm that cruise tourism on the island continues to grow steadily.
Industry stakeholders say the increasing number of off-season arrivals benefits local businesses, tour operators, and attractions, providing a more consistent flow of visitors year-round.
