WILLEMSTAD – The cruise sector in Curaçao has shown significant growth in 2024, according to the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA).
The number of cruise passengers increased by 17.5%, reaching a total of 834,890 visitors. Additionally, the number of cruise ship arrivals grew by 14.5%, with 328 vessels docking at the island.
The CPA attributes this growth to strong collaboration with its partners.
This week alone, the island is expecting six cruise ships, bringing a combined total of 16,144 tourists. Three of these vessels are scheduled to arrive on Thursday.
