WILLEMSTAD - The Port of Curaçao celebrated a significant milestone today with the arrival of the cruise ship Nautica. The ship docked at Mega Pier Ernest ‘Jackie’ Voges, marking an important achievement for the island's cruise tourism sector.
The Nautica, a 30,277-ton vessel operated by Oceania Cruises, is 181 meters long and can accommodate 684 passengers and 400 crew members. Known for its luxurious cruise experience, Nautica offers top-tier amenities and personalized service, attracting upscale travelers to the region.
Also docked in the harbor today is the Britannia from P&O Cruises, which is moored at Mega Pier Tula. The arrival of both ships underscores Curaçao’s growing appeal as a premier Caribbean cruise destination.
A plaque exchange ceremony was held aboard the Nautica, attended by representatives from the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), Maduro Shipping, Customs, and the Immigration Service.
