WILLEMSTAD - The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), in collaboration with the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), continued its cherished tradition of the "Holiday Gift Project," which was launched in 2008. This year, the celebration at Mathey Werf brought together 200 students from Kolegio Erasmo. A crew member from the Norwegian Gem, dressed as Santa Claus, distributed gifts alongside 12 volunteers, creating a joyful experience for all those present.
Minister Sithree van Heydoorn, Minister of Education, acknowledged the annual event for its combination of festivity and education. "This celebration is a testament to the long-standing collaboration between FCCA and CPA, which annually enriches the community’s understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity," said Minister van Heydoorn.
CPA and FCCA continue to strengthen community ties and enrich the festive experience for local youth through this partnership. Their joint efforts ensure that every child can experience the joy of the holiday season.
